We’re seeking a hands-on Regional Service Technician who brings both hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills to the table. This role blends the responsibilities of a bench technician with the adaptability required to support all aspects of a modern computing environment. You'll serve as a key point of contact for diagnosing and resolving issues related to workstations, hardware, software, networks, and more - both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across desktops, software, hardware, networks, and basic server environments
- Provide both remote and onsite support to clients, delivering a high level of customer service through clear communication, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented approach
- Handle escalated tickets and more complex technical issues across environments
- Support Microsoft 365 environments (Azure/virtualization exposure is a plus)
- Assist with server support and virtualization (Hyper-V experience is nice to have)
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and system maintenance
- Install and configure operating systems, security tools, and business applications
- Execute occasional physical networking work (cabling, rack setup, etc.)
- Document work, test solutions, and recommend improvements to system performance
- Act as a technical resource for junior team members when needed
- Travel onsite to client locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, OS, and networking
- Experience with Windows environments and Microsoft Office
- Microsoft 365 experience required; Azure or virtualization exposure is a plus
- Working knowledge of:
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Business networks and user support
- Basic server environments
- Solid understanding of endpoint security and antivirus tools
- Strong customer service & communication skills, including ability to:
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Share ideas effectively
- Actively listen and understand others
- Build strong working relationships
- Work hands-on and independently
- Engage confidently and directly with clients
- Valid driver’s license
